I have an 08 g35xs and it wont go into sport shift mode. It started doing this about once every 10 days, and now its all the time. Dealer said just bring it in (which is good), just wondering iif anyone else had the same problem? Thanks.

 

Yes, mine did this about a month ago, its a known problem they will just change out your shifter assembly.

was this using the paddle shifters or when u manually went to tiptronic??

 

I had the same issue about two weeks ago and immediately took it into the dealer and they replaced the shifter assembly which was known to be an electrical issue. My warranty ran out two months ago and they still fixed it out of good will... Judging by the amount of people that have had this issue they should fix this no questions asked even if your warranty is done.
Now my car is fine and no signs.
