tanabe's are generally pretty quiet. even the one's they make for the lexus IS, so i've heard. you could run a magnaflow mid-reso/muffler and i'm sure that would increase the 'rumble'.

Yes, the Tanabe axle back is pretty quiet and tame. Not sure if it's the pic but it also looks like you might need to adjust the left muffler a lil bit. Looks like your left muffler is sitting much lower than the right side.

Regarding the Y-pipe, your best option would be the Tanabe Y-pipe but these are not cheap and also currently on backorder everywhere IIRC. JIC also makes Y-pipe for our cars but I think they are also costly. Ichiba would be your other option but I think Ichibas are trash. I think your best bet is to just get some HFC's to bring some life into this set up.

my 6mt does that sound too ... runs good warranty is over not much i can do

for the exhaust, if its new, it will get louder as you break it in.
you can also go with test pipes ...

Won't test pipes make it raspy?

ART pipes aren't raspy but they are loud as hell.

eh, I would keep my Cats in and just remove a resonator or replace it. Before doing test pipes.
