Suicide door conversion. Any pics out there? Curious to see what it would look like.
I'm pretty sure it will cost substantially more than $300 in the end since you would, as a practical matter, have to move the door handle towards the opening end of the door. That means removing the current door handle, filling those holes in, drilling new holes, installing the handle and hardware along with the actual latch to the opening side of the door, then the body and paintwork. In the end, it would look silly and do nothing to improve upon the car. Pretty much as useless as Lambo or Gullwing doors.
Good point
To be honest, I'm just not a fan of this at all. I think this isn't of any practical value at all, given that out rear doors already open nearly perpendicular as it is. I know some cars have door that only open at a small angle, but not ours! As far as looks, it's pretty weird, and IMHO amounts to doing it "just do do it". Lastly, I always am concerned with kits like this (especially inexpensive ones) just how much engineering went into it and whether or not it compromises the original (and tested) integrity of the cabin in a collision.
It is def not an easy mod I have done a few sets, not on g35's. I would love to do a set on a g sedan tho. Typically you need to relocate the handle, or shave. Re enforce the door jam, body work, paint etc. It is much more than $300
That would be great! I'd love to see that.

If I was into my car as I was. I would have had my buddies shop do it.
