Any members here still running stock G35?
I see no need to waste thousands of dollars on mods on my G that do little to improve performance aside from bragging rights.
If I want a faster car, I'll go buy one.
My truck makes nearly 500HP and 700TQ and will drag your G around the parking lot like a pull toy. That's where my mod money goes.
My Harley carries about $4000 in mods.
My Goldwing carries about another $1000.
My Suzuki another $1000.
Hardly boring.

I didn't mean go out and waste thousands of dollars but maybe some light modding! Such as a drop about $240, debadge or paint emblems. Paint grille. Stuff like that! Kinda makes your car a little bit less boring. Post a pic of your truck!
I don't like debadged cars. Personal preference.
I haven't tinted because of where I live. In winter we barely get eight hours of daylight.
I have enough toys that leaving the car stock is a non issue. I'd much rather spend mod money on my bikes.
Truck is a white 4x4 diesel dodge with a white topper. It's chipped and has a modified exhaust. Outward appearance is unimpressive except for tint (had it done when I lived in Texas). It's a sleeper. It's not lifted for two reasons - I tow a big RV with it and there are hitch concerns if I raise it, and it barely fits in my garage now. I clear by about an inch getting it in. My driveway is ridiculously steep.

I'm pretty much fully stock since I haven't done any "real" modding (and if you discount appearance mods like LEDs, fogs, turn signal lights, backup cam and speakers/amp/ipod gateway). Still on my stock rims, the only suspension mod is the RWD sway bar and never liked or needed tint. I liked G's stock appearance since day one and still feel that way.
the g stock, it's a nice car to begin with, no argument there.
problem is when you see a bunch on the road and want to feel a bit more unique and show more character, then the modding begins.

thanks, i've enjoyed my coupe, but what you don't see in the pics are the two recaro seats (for my 3 and 1 year olds). so for the sake of being "practical", i chose the sedan. i hope not to spend much on mods this time around, hopefully just open it up a little to breathe and some tint, hopefully...
Most people running 100% stock have little interest in forums like this.
There are some... but not many.
I see tons of stock G's on the road but I'm fairly certain none of them have ever stepped foot into these parts.
When I bought my G, i had no intentions of modding in ANY way.
This place corrupted me.
