Is backup camera not avail. On 2007 g35 sedan with nav, bose package?

I FOUND A 2007 G35S SEDAN WITH NAV AND BOSE PACKAGE. I WAS GOING TO START NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE SALESMAN WHEN I DECIDED TO CHECK OUT THE CAR ONE LAST TIME BEFORE GOING IN TO HAGGLE BECAUSE I HAD REMEMBERED THAT I NEVER SAW A BACKUP CAM.

I PLACED THE CAR IN REVERSE AND TO MY SURPRISE, THERE WAS NO CHANGE TO THE NAV SCREEN LIKE I HAD EXPECTED. I WAS EXPECTING THE SCREEN TO CHANGE TO THE REAR VIEW CAMERA MODE. THAT WAS A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME, SO I TOLD THE SALEMAN I AM NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE.

MY QUESTION NOW IS, I HAD ALWAY THOUGHT THAT THE G35'S WITH NAV AND BOSE SOUND SYSTEM PACKAGE ALSO CAME WITH THE REARVIEW CAMERA. IS IS POSSIBLE THE PREVIOUS OWNER CUSTOM ORDERED THE CAR TO NOT HAVE A BACKUP CAMERA? SOUNDS STANGE TO ME.

MY G35 DRIVER FAMILY, PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME ON THE DIFFERENT PACKAGES AND HOW TO BE SURE THAT I AM GETTING A G35S SEDAN WITH NAV, BOSE, AND REARVIEW CAMERA. CAN I ADD AN OEM INFINITI BACKUP CAM TO THIS CAR?

ok you have to stop saying bose system b/c these cars come w/ it no matter what. For the G35 you have a base, journey, journey premium package and sport. If you do not have the premium package your not going to have the back up camera.

Sorry for the caps. When I mentioned the bose system, I am referring to the Studio on Wheels. So all g35 come with the studio on wheels standard? I want a g35 sedan with nav, rear view cam, studio on wheels or premium sound package, and sports package. Is it possible to get all these packages, or do I have to sacrifice one option /package for another? Any help or explanation is appreciated.

Not quite... the bose system is only present in the Gs with premium package, the non premium pkg cars dont have BOSE system at least in the 07s.

And the backup camera comes with the TECHNOLOGY package on the 07s and withe NAV pkg in the 08+ i believe.

If you want all that, then you need to look for a G w/ premium package

As i said before BOSE system in the 07s come with the PREMIUM pkg and then you also want the NAV, SPORT and TECH pkgs to get everything you want.

You should be able to find one but it might take some serious looking depending on your area since most ppl had nav and prem without tech pkg.

Just premium wont include sport, nav or backup camera, premium pkg includes other amenities... he has to get a G with Premium, Tech, Nav and Sports to get what he's looking for at least in the 07s for sure...

i have the Premium package on my car. Which is Navi, Camera, and all that other junk that comes w/ it. The Tech is another 3 grand which is not part of the Premium package. that is extra for lazy people that don't want to step on there breaks for cruse control. Sport is BBK, and paddle shifters and all that other junk as well.

^ ok im not trying to argue with you but the information that youre giving him can lead him to look into the wrong cars... so you have the nav AND prem pkg which are two separate pkgs and you can get Gs with both or just premium pkg with no nav...

Premium does NOT include nav or camera in neither the 07s or 08.
In 2008s IF you have NAV pkg then it includes camera.
in 2007s you must get the separate NAV and TECH pkg($1100 and not $3000) to get the navigation, camera, adaptive lights, preview braking and ICC.

Basically looking JUST for premium pkg does NOT guarantee nav or camera in either models.

Premium on 07s adds other features like:
Bose stereo RDS audio system, Disc Autochanger and six-disc remote changer CD player; Memorized adjustment; Voice activating system; Garage door opener; Coming home device Rear view mirror; Compass; Heated electrically adjustable driver and passenger seat with extra adjustments; Includes: Sunroof

ok lets not quote the sticker on everything it has or not. If the guy wants a camera and navi. So obviously it's going to be a used car. so just call the dealers and tell them what you want and they should have it.

they moved features into different packages each year....

best thing is to go here: http://www.nissannews.com/newsroom/34/140/g-sedan

all the info you need for each year you are looking at.

Kool is 100% right. In the future, you guys can always go to Infinitihelp.com and look up the specs on a previous model year's build:

http://infinitihelp.com/models/2007/...ifications.php

Down at the bottom of the page under "Packages and Options"
