Anyone familiar with BG 44K?
I hear it's the best Fuel cleaner out there and that others are poor imposters. I recently purchased a can @ $25.00 bucks a can. I have not used the product yet, will wait for my next fill up. Any experiences would be appriaciated.
I Hope is not too strong and messes up your car.
where did you buy it from? how many miles do you have?
if your car has low miles, and you run on good gas like mobil, chevron, shell (octane 91)you dont really need it, the gas is purified and has cleaning Additives.
but if you run on cosco sams valero or arco etc. then I would clean my fuel injectors

I have about 42k on the car right now and have had the car since 39k. I usually fun a fuel cleaner through about every oil change in hopes of maximum power and efficiency. But mainly I just want to properly maintain my vehicles and don't want to lose any power that I have with dirty and poorly maintained equipment.
This stuff is for professional use only(atleast what the package says) and is not sold in auto parts stores and is freakin hard to find online(except Ebay). The only place you can buy it locally is a dealership or specialty auto supply store. I found it locally at a little shop with a great selection of synthetics and off the wall parts, I think they stock Tiger blood.
I use 91OCT but am not picky about what gas station I use just out of convenience or laziness. This stuff is probably just snake oil but eternal hope is why I am trying this and changing all of my fluids with synthetics so I may achieve .5 mls per gallon 2% hp @10,000rpms.
Will review shortly but like all synthetics and bolt on mods. In seat of the pants testing you feel what you want to feel. : )

It is the best out there. Some dealers actually use it and change you $140 for FI cleaning haha. I have used it once in a 02 Maxima I had just because I was drinking the BG 44K kool aid. The car didn't need it, and I saw no difference in driving performance. However if your car is clogged up you may see a difference. Dont expect a one time use and VIOLA its all gone. Not exactly how it works.
On the other hand, most modern cars advise against using these additives. You decide.

As stated, unless you fill only Costco gas (which has no additives), any brand name pump gas has their own blend of cleaners/etc (techron, etc) added to the gas which should negate the need for any aftermarket additives.

Thanks all that replied. My decision it to use it on my wife's commuter car, 01 Nis. Altima with 110,000mls ( current) and a 30 mile daily commute. I will buy another can and use it for my self during my 60k maintenance.
Ask Infiniti dealership mechanics to see if its safe.
Keep us informed if its good stuff we might use it.
Haha!! I just meant because of the high miles, she is more likely to "harmful deposits". I will let u guys know about it, plus my wife will let me how it runs. she treats that car like a rented mule. i think it will be safe to use on our cars but using it on the Nissan will be the trial run because same parts/same company. The can does say that it is safe to use on cc converters, O2 sensors and compatible with all fuel systems.
Same here, same car, same model year. Used it every 30k. The car has about 140k now, i believe (i no longer own it, but it's still with extended family). Never had issues with it, the way i see it, it was just preventive maintenance after having had an issue with a local Chevron that apparently sold 89 gas as 93 at certain times.
^ You prob were on maxima.org forum too. I think I remember the username. I traded mine only after 2 1/2 yrs on an 04 Titan. Total failure, $8K lost later the titan was gone for an 04 G35, and the saga continues. Sorry for jacking the thread.
