Mine just broke for the 4th time and I am now out of warranty. Is there a better option for holding the floor mat in place? It seems to ride up over the gas pedal now.

 

if you don't want to get another peg try some velcro (hook & loop) adhesive strips from the hardware store.

 

They actually fixed that under warentee?

Yes, three separate times.

 

Mine actually rides way up the gas pedal even when its hooked, its not tight enough. Lucky the G has a different pedal or there would be some Toyota UI going on.

I've just been too lazy to either cut the floor mat near the gas pedal or add some rough section velcro strips to the mat.
