Welcome!

Hopefully it's just the brackets. Worst-case it may also be the endlinks (they're only $25 or so each). You could theoretically remove the bar now to prevent any further damage, just be mindful of the change in driving dynamics.

Just got back from the shop and it appears no major damage was done. Phew!! I only popped the plastic cover out of shape. I removed it and everything seems fine.
