Hey guys.

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but I don't even know what it's called, so it wasn't coming up.

The plastic cover plates (that go around the power window buttons) are all getting dirty on mine. And when I try to clean them, I noticed that the coating actually comes off. So now, the places where the coating scrubbed off are shiny, and I figured the only solution is to replace them.

Has anyone else come across this problem, and does anyone know what the part number would be?

All that rubber texture comes off. It is covered under warranty and they replace them w/ new ones.

This is a common problem and has been discussed MANY times. Try performing a search for "scratched door handle". That should bring up a dozen or so threads. You'll find many people have successfully replaced them under warranty.
