Lightbulb 40K oil Change

Hi all, I am reaching 40K and i am looking to do a oil change. I was thinking rather than taking my car to dealer I could go to somewhere local. Would any of you trust shops like pepboy, big O Tires, or just somewhere that says Oil Change? I saw a oil Change deal at Big O Tires that cost about 65 for full synthetic. Is that a good deal?
Feel free to share opinions or suggestions on what other things i should do besides oil change.

Buy your own oil and filter and DIY!!! If not, 65 is not too bad....

I generally wait every 60k before doing an oil change. DIY is best

I'm hoping you're either:

A) Not talking about engine oil

B) Just bought this car used, and haven't put many miles on it

C) Randomly trolling.

Because if you put 40,000 miles on a car without a oil change... May the car gods strike you down

I use the hokey pokey method:

I put a little oil in, I take a little oil out, I put a little oil in and I shake it all about
