Hesitation under heavy electrical load?

Okay guys so driving around today in my car i noticed my hesitation started coming back in the G. Now here is the interesting part, its only doing it during heavy electrical loads. For instance with highbeams and ac cranked It almost stalls out when turning slow in a circle. Got the battery tested again... Infiniti tested it a couple weeks ago and it was testing back at 425 CCA's so I went to Advance Auto today and it was about the same. Came back that the battery needs to be replaced. Could the battery actually be causing my hesitation?

Alt tested at 14.06V no load and 14.02v with load

Let me know what you think.

Tested today
Voltage: 12.59
Measured: 450 CCA

Well, that's a lot you have going on there. When you say it hesitates under heavy electrical load, I think you're also missing the (relatively) heavier mechanical load your engine is under with the added AC compressor and power steering loads along with the alternator load.

All that being said, I'm still not sure I understand what you've written about how your battery tested today. It seems you compared it to the same results you got when you tested it a few weeks ago (425 CCA's), but then you say it "Came back that the battery needs to be replaced.", and then below that you say:

"Tested today
Voltage: 12.59
Measured: 450 CCA"

I'm assuming the 450 CCA's measured today is what was "about the same" as a few weeks ago (and should be enough), but what's all this about it needing replacement.

I don't see either the alternator readings or the battery readings being inordinate, so again I'm left wondering about mechanical loading on the engine. Is your compressor or PS pump possibly binding/seizing up ? It could also be just that if your car is idling too low or in less than optimum tune, the added mechanical load at idle causes the faultering.

First of all, the battery has nothing to do with the way the car runs. All the battery does is provide cranking power to START the engine, once running the alternator and charging system KEEP the cars electrical system running. In some cars you can remove the battery and start it with jumper cables connected to the wires only and the car will run.

Voltage over 14 under load is ideal and you may want to look into other potential problems

Sorry it was so jumbled, running off very little sleep. The only test I ran was with high beams and the ac full blast. I haven't had any hesitation with the car unless I have both of those on at the same time. Just trying to figure it out. The battery test was to try and confirm what the dealer was saying about having the battery replaced.
