K&N intake & custom catback. Can't wait!!!

Im having my custom catback made on friday and I'm having a base dyno run performed after the install. The tips are in powdercoating right now (black). I will post the dyno sheet once completed. I have K&N typhoon intake as well. My dyno elevation is at 5500 ft. so i'm kinda scared to see the whp #'s.

Less air the higher you get = less air the engine gets = less HP than at sea level

I am taking it to racing trenz on Evans. Unless you know of a better place!!! Never had a car dyno'd before. They are charging $65 for the base dyno run. I hear that for every 1000 feet of elevation you lose 3.5% hp. So up here I would lose 19% hp. LAMEO

I take mine to MAC Autosport and they have been great. They are really respected tuners here in CO also. If you decide to head to MAC I'll stop by.

They look a little more professional and have a better shop it looks like. If my car needs to be tuned (which it will) I will have them do it. I will still have RacingTrenz do the base run cause they are closer.

Ok. So i got the exhaust and dyno performed. 230hp and 185tq. Torque is pretty shitty I think. Getting a tune is the right choice but I don't have 1k to spend on a tune!! Should've thought of that before I guess.

^ disappointing numbers indeed but with that elevation they look about right for stock Gs that push around ~260+ whp
