Picking up a G35 Thursday..Hi to all members from a G35 noob!

Guys I am picking up my first G35 sedan. It is a 2007 G35S, Manual, 40K on odo., Black on Black, Premium Package. The vehicle is bone stock and one owner. I got it for what seems like a really really good price. I am not new to Nissan at all. I have owned a heavily modified 240 and a slightly modded 350. I noticed that the aftermarket parts are not plentiful for our vehicles. I searched the forums and found some stuff so I wont ask questions on where to find what. I do wanna ask your op. on what the best performance mods you feel are? And is there anything you could change about the late model G35 sedans?

I was contemplating on buying the Black Top Aero rear diffuser, Takeda short ram intakes, Eibach Pro Kit with Eibach camber kit, and custom make my own exhaust using Magnaflow mufflers and tips. Thank you for the post. Let me know if you have any feedback on any parts I intend on using. Pros and cons are welcome.

Stock up on the plasti-dip. Invaluable modding tool.

Welcome. You're gonna love the G.

Welcome bro. I'm dropped on pro kits as well with the rear camber kit. Honestly though if I were to do it again I would just invest in coilovers. The ride with eibachs and 20's is pretty harsh to be honest.

As for intakes if you are looking for gains the popular choice is the stillen gen 3, but other than that our stock intakes are already so good that aftermarket short rams have even shown a loss in power. Still, many people get them for the look/sound.

For your exhaust, take a look at this thread there are a ton of options for our car.

I have found a web site that has the HPS Intake Tubes for a 110 shipped. This seems like a really good price. Here is a link:

http://www.wesellcarparts.com/store/...idproduct=9376

Once again thank you for the hospitality. I will probably look at 19" rollers. Something concave and maybe even mesh. Probably something along the lines of Linea Corse LC818

Welcome to the forum!!

And btw few members here complained that HPS intake tubes require slight modification for correct fitment onto our vehicle. I'm not sure how long ago this was, but try searching the thread for more info!!!

If you want power on the dyno get test pipes and exhaust. Intake is mostly sound and look. Sways like the others said are good, but i haven't gotten mine yet. If yiu arent happy with the power after that fi is the only real option. There are lots of chassis braces too.

Sways for sure, a modest drop on Eibach Pros, nicer rims, grippy tires, skip the intakes (our V36 dual intakes can breathe quite well). Many ppl on here love the FI exhaust especially.

You can get intakes if you just want sound. I still let it roar in tunnels..sounds so nice..intake are expensive however
