Kinda, sorta.

- The OEM donut on our sedan will not fit over the front akebono.
- I tried the donut with a 20mm spacer, it would not fit (inner barrel hits).
- It may fit with an even larger spacer, but i don't have one try.
- The wider OEM rear sedan "S" wheel will fit over the rear akebono, and at least a 5-10mm spacer to fit over the front.
- The G37S donut will fit without issue.

The reason the G37S donut fits is primarily because they're 18" round. Our sedan donut is only 17". The issue is mostly inner-barrel fitment.

Okay!!! Another quick question! So any G37 coupe spare would fit my front Akebono right? Meaning G37 Journey and Sports used the same donut!

As long as it was a Journey w/Sport, then I would definitely think so. Basically, if it came with the Akebonos then it should fit. (all models with Sport, be they 6MT or Journey, came with Akebonos)

You know there is another possible solution here. The problem is: if you got a flat in the rear, you could use the smaller spare, but if you got a flat in the front, the spare wouldn't clear the Akebonos. SO, if the front gets a flat, why not put the spare on the rear, and then take that rear and put it on the front instead of the spare? Sure, if you're staggered you have to remove the bolt/dowel that is supposed to prevent you from running rears on the front, and it's twice the work if you do get a flat, but seriously . . . how often do you actually get a flat? And even then, how often was it a front tire? I've had cars that I drove clear into the ground and never got a single flat. If it were my money, I'd probably roll the dice and take my chances that I wouldn't get a flat in the front, and if I did, then I'd have to change two tires to get going again. No biggie.

Sort of. I can't find the thread now, but i've seen someone post a picture of their donut, and it looked like one that was in the 1st gen (i.e. solid face, not the pretty looking aftermarket-ish look the 2nd gen sedans and the Akebono-equipped 37's have.)

That there is a great idea. A bit more work, but is certainly doable.

Funny thing about your comment quoted above though, i recently got a flat, both on the front passenger side all in the same month. They happened overnight while in the garage, so i just swapped them out with one of my other rims instead of the spare. The spare, if used religiously, is no good to me except in extreme emergencies. I mean, c'mon, 50 miles at no more than 50mph? I live in Texas, that won't even get me to the gas station.

Just be sure to tip your tire technician nicely, they absolutely hate that stuff. Very messy.

Okay!! Hold on! By smaller spare ÿôū mean our spare! Not G37 spare! Right!? It will clear the Rears! This is my stock spare(check picture)! Which I took out because it was pointless having if it doesn't even work!
Funny thing I also lost my key for my lug nuts! So, I can't even take out my wheels at the moment!! Ahhaha! I heard those fix a flat are garbage!
Hey Mike! I meant Journey with no sports and with sports having the same donut! Damn!

Hey i bought a G37 18' spare to clear my Akebono. Fits on there w/ no problem. Had to use it one day b/c i caught a nail in my tire and really saved me. You need a G37 18' spare to clear. And you do not need a spacer.

^ Hate to say this, but please read through the thread.

The "Sport" brakes early 2nd gens have is not the same as the "Sport" brakes from later years also known as the Akebono's.

Our early "Sport" spare is only 17". The later years have 18"'s, same look, just larger.
