Im planning on buying a 07 G35 and was wondering if it was true that not all models come with built in GPS.

If this is true how can i determine witch have gps and witch don't when buying a used car off craigslist, and how much would it cost to build one into my car.

And it would be amazing if someone could explain what features would be missing if a G35 didn't have GPS besides the obvious , ive heard the screen is not touchscreen, is this true?

Thank for any and all help.

Not all 07's have gps, it is a 2k add on. You look for a map button or you look fore a rectangular box behind the gear shift at the bottom of the console(card reader). See pic below. It is the premium package. It includes Music box, a 9.5ish gig HD will burn your cd's onto it. I can't remember what else but I think it includes sunroof, bose premium, card reader and xm radio. If somebody else doesn't, i will update it tomorrow from my other computer that has my window sticker on it

As for putting it in afterwards, You probably could, but it would cost a fortune(literally) and would be a PITA as you would have to replace quite a few things. In my opinion, it is well worth it. With all the stuff you get in the premium package it really isn't that much.

Found it:

Yeah, it is the dealers stock photo before I bought the car. It as awfully shiny until the dust stuck to it.

I like the matte look of it...I think armorall'd interiors are so 90s. lol.

Anyway, NAV package is worth every penny. If you are buying used look until you find one with NAV, it's awesome. I use mine frequently not to mention voice activation features come in handy when you want to call someone or get directions to places without stopping. (Can't enter address on NAV unless you are in park, but you can use the voice act. feature to enter address)

The compact Flash is actually a pretty decent feature. I do wish it was USB like my JVC was, but you can burn all your cd's to it and don't have to worry about different formats due to the copy write stuff like you do on our "music box" CD to hard drive. I scored my 4 gig Platinum II card for HHGregg for $12 on clearence
