What would you guys downgrade to.. It gone through my mind a couple of times but I really dont think I would have the courage to get rid of my G!!! I had a few in mind under 20K! I wanna know what would you downgrade to if you had to! Keep it under 20k

I just bought my G a month ago and I was looking at several cars under 20k. Nothing really compared to a G, obviously, but to answer your question I wouldn't mind having a Ford Lightning if the gas mileage wasn't so horrendous. Or a super clean second gen GS300 and VIP it up.

Or I'd downgrade from my loaded G35X to a coupe.

You are right! Hard to find something close! I do like the new body maxima! Sucks its FWD! And I driven one and I wasn't impressed with the take off at all!! Under 20K and RWD with good power I thought of Charger R/T and 300C! But those cars are so played out!!

I like it!

I'd consider a TSX, Accord or even a nice newer Civic for a DD. Maybe a Pontiac G8 GT (not everyone would consider that a downgrade, though!)

I have my 07 G and a Ford Lightning. The Lightning is an amazing weekend warrior but I couldn't drive it everyday. I get <10 MPG in it everytime i drive it. $20 bucks of gas gets me 44 miles....

it's one hell of a good time for those 44 miles though

Oh, you're clearly referring to the Unobtainia 5000GT! I'd rather drive a Civic than a fugly boat of a Charger (and I'm an old muscle-car guy)

Yes, a little negotiation would net a 2008 G8 GT under 20K. How about an early-2000s Corvette?

It makes a fairly huge difference in the answer if you stay RWD. If not, there's tons of FWD cars once you've swallowed that pill.
