not feelin it. just because all the newer cars have them now doesnt mean they belong on every car. especially G's.they just dont flow with the rest of the car.

That's why it's called custom. We choose what we want to do to our cars, but I agree for me they just don't look right at all. I do like them on the right car, but even then they are getting too common on almost every new car.

Ok I've been wanting to do LEDs on my car like this for awhile, ever since I saw the triangle pattern used on the 2013's. So I finally got around to it today and, honestly, for 2nd Gens with Sport bumpers I think this looks oem and not at all out of place. These pictures aren't all that great. Looks better in person. I'm liking it. What do you think?

Equifire, I think those look very good. They are understated, and I don't think anybody could say that you are trying to rip off a Mercedes/Audi.

I'd like to see pictures with the lights off, you can't really get an idea of what the housing looks like... how cleanly the LEDs are integrated into the bumper.

I meant to post this sooner but been really busy lately. The LED's are from eBay. There are dozens of different ones but I tried to find something of higher quality with a bright white color, not blue. What I got are 3W 6000K Eagle Eye SMD. They were extremely, even blindingly bright at first but have toned down a bit. They are about as bright as the new Acura or Lexus LEDs. Which tend to be a little bit brighter and more intense than Audi. They have the bolt and nut on the back. I don't think there's anyway the adhesive would stay on for long especially down low on the bumper. I drove 2 hours in rain last weekend and mine held up perfectly.

How I mounted them was to buy a 1 foot piece of 1" dia PVC pipe from the hardware store. The lights fit in them perfectly. I used a small T-bevel to get the angle of the bumper where the LED was going to be mounted. Then cut one end of the PVC pipe to match that angle. The length of the PVC will actually be very small it's just big enough to keep the LEDs flush with the bumper and aimed forward. Each angle of PVC was cut with a hacksaw and custom shaped with a dremel to match the bumper curvature so there's a tight and flush fit while keeping the LED aimed straight. I probably spent 3 hours just cutting and fitting the PVC. I then painted them flat black to match the bumper. When the LED's are bolted to the car they are very solid and tight. The only thing I worry about is a rock hitting one and breaking it. But I bought a couple extra LEDs for spares. .

The relay to turn the LEDs on is from ebay just search for infiniti DRL relay. Inexpensive and pretty simple to hook up.
