I'm trying to reprogram my 3rd button only. I just read the manual and Step 1 says to clear out all the program then program...

I was wondering if I needed to clear it all out or if I can just re program my 3rd button....

 

You should be able to just push the learn button on the garage door opener you want programmed then push the 3rd button on your mirror until the door opens/closes.

 

You will have to clear the system to make sure there is no error in programming.

 

I didn't have to clear my programming.. I just reprogrammed the button I wanted to program and it just worked... So no need to clear the system...
