Having rough Idle problems car shaking?

If your car is having idling problems, shaking when parked or at a red light?
This tread could problably help.

My car was having rough idling,so i decided to clean my throttle body and mass air flow sensors now my car is running like a champ,it fixed the rough idle.the car dosnt shake anymore and the engine sounds very smooth when its on,kinda like when its new?

You have 2 be really carefull when doing this procedure.be carefull not to let the throttle slam shut, disconect the battery while doing this, and dont over tighten the screws on the mass airflow sensors.use crc throttle body cleaner and crc mass air flow cleaner from autozone let it dry for like 45 min.The mass air flow sensors are connected to the air boxes or air intakes they only have 2 screw. The throttle bodys only have 4 bolts.
just take off screws form both parts dont disconect wires.

Theres a DIY thread on the throttle bodys
but none on the mass air flow sensors

This is only a suggestion
it worked for me,if done correctly you shouldnt have any problems

I hope it helps you guys

What year is your car? If it's still under warranty, let dealer fix it.

Regardless, you have an actual fault code (for misfire if I recall correctly), so you should pursue that rather than cleaning intake tract. Misfires are usually electrically based and not from a dirty intake.

Lots of info available for troubleshooting codes. Search is your friend.

rough idle/shaking

How I fixed it:

1. had throttle body cleaned
2. fuel injector treatment... slightly better
3. MAF and PCV cleaned/ checked
4. throttle body removed and cleaned behind .... WORKED!!!

anyone ever get their tb's cleaned at a mechanic, and how much would this cost? i have 2 little kids, and zero time to be pulling stuff apart.

so to answer my own question, had my tb's cleaned by a nissan dealer, $150. i dont think they pulled anything apart, rather ran some type of cleaning fluid through. called it a fuel system service, and the rep said it would clean the tb's. so far the car does run smoother, less rough idling, smoother acceleration. i hope i didnt get soaked..
