Opinions: good deal? 07 G35x

Hey everyone.

It's been a while since ive posted on the forum since i had sold my 05 G35x a while back. I then went to a 04 4Runner Limited 4x4 only to turn around and want a car again and got into an 06 TL, just to realize how much i miss my old G and i should've just kept it - but such is the life of a car fanatic.

Anyways....

I have recently found a 07 G35x Loaded with Nav, premium, and tech packages.Garnet with wheat interior- Which i also like- my TL is Redondo Red with camel int and i love the look. Clean carfax and always serviced at infiniti. The dealer has had the car since Sept. and had it listed at $19k. They recently lowered the price to $17.5k but my buddy owns a car lot and said he could get it for $15,900 + tax for me.

I'm not really sure what the newer model goes for now and just wanted some opinions. I can get out of my TL and not loose any money and payment would be around the same so no big differences.

How many miles? That usually is an important part of the equation

Dont think you did, you purchased with only 28k miles.

I paid $21,500 for my 2007 G35x with Nav/Tech/Premium a couple of months ago with 32k miles.

NADA: Clean Retail $22,650, Clean trade in $19,025, Average $17,750, Rough $16,200, At auction it shows between $15k and $19k at the high end. I called Infiniti of bedford but they said they wouldnt do a Pre inspection for me, probably because they want me to buy a car from them. Nissan dealer by me said they would charge about $45 to do an inspection/ look over on the rack, and check paint depth for me. It seems like a good price to me at $15,900. But i was curious as to what others had paid recently to kind of get an idea.

Wow...now I feel like I overpaid for mine.

My 2008 G35X was purchased for $25,500 with tax and everything.
It's Lakeshore Blue on Black Interior, doesn't have navigation but it has everything else.

It had 28,900 miles. I also purchased it with a 4 year warranty. Clean Carfax, minor scratches on Rims.

Seems like a deal. Wait is the Infiniti dealer selling it for that? or they just wouldn't do an inspection? that's weird if it's not their car and they won't. I did that on mine ( I think at Grubbs or Sewell) before I bought it from a (shady) nissan dealer.

Nice! Yes, it was thoroughly inspected at a Nissan dealership. I believe it was a good deal with the warranty. The only things I disliked were the small scuffs on the automatic stick handle and small scratches on the left driver and passenger rims, but it is a remarkably fantastic car. It was originally on sale for $27,000.

I have to say, this car is a blessing because I upgraded (hugely) after over a decade of driving a 1998 Ford.

It was either this car or the 2009 Nissan Maxima with 37,000 miles for the same price and I'm happy I chose this car.

Not bad, I also paid $25k with 28.6k miles for an '08 G35x with sat/nav and the works. I love the '07-'08 G Sedans, so I say Go For It! Can't beat the price, check to see if you an purchase the Infinity warranty, and you'll be golden.
