Question Wheel, tire, center caps question to those rims guru

A friend of mine gave his rims to me since he doesn't own the car anymore.

Now I know it fit on my 07 G35S but I do not like the tire since its too low profile and I want to get something close to stock so I can fit the stock TPMS to new wheel (car not lower). It is currently on 235/35/19.

Here is the rim specs: 19x8.5 offset 37 brand Edge BM01
According to this site on pic it will fit 275 width???

I also need to know where to get center caps that will fit on that wheel since it was Mercedes caps on it. I google for hours and can't find it other than the Mercedes.

Any suggestion welcome

On an 8.5 wide rim, the widest tire I would go with is a 245/40/19. That will also put your speedometer reading properly (within 0.1%)

Closest to OEM size would be 245/40/19's. However, I'd rather keep OEM wheels over those wheels your friend handed you. I can tell why he just gave them to ya. Keep it clean and stay with OEM or invest some $$ to get some quality wheels.

Just my .02

I believe those wheel are pretty good wheel considering it was sold by mercedes dealership and I believe it was $2500 out the door with tires 2 years ago plus made by edge performance ... Anyway in my opinion it will look good on my car compare to OEM to archive black out car with a little bit aggressive rims.

Thanks for the input, so if I do 245/40/ZR19 in front can I do 255/40 or 255/35 - ZR19 on rear to give staggered look. Will that affect the driving? And how close would that be to OEM?

I'd just go 245/40/19 all the way around so you can rotate them. You won't notice much of a staggered setup with only a 255/40/19 in the rear. BTW, I know you said the wheels fit, but are they 5x114.3 bolt pattern. I thought mercedes wheels were 5x112.

It fit just fine. I used to have AMG replica wheel on my supercharged G with same specification for Mercedes and all I need just to replace the wheel lugs to something without the washer to fit on the hole with the same spec stud 12mm x 1.25 I believe.

That's sound pretty good idea of rotating .... I might just do that
