TPMs Light Went off By Itself

Just wondering if any of you guys had any idea whats going on!
I know a lot of guys that have wheels have the TPMs light since you haven't install TPMs on them! And you don't mind the light, and I didn't too!

But now that light is gone I still don't understand why, it had been on since I got wheels and out of no where it just went off! Any thoughts.

A picture just for fun! lol

Does its indicator bulb still illuminate just before starting the car (ie. during the lamp test) ?

I am 90% sure it does and then turns off! Not home at the moment to double check! But I think it does because I usually take a look at it to see if it comes back on!

Yoshy! I don't have TPMs on my wheels! That's why I had the light, it had been on for over 6 months or so! But now it just went away by itself! Get it?!

That being said, it is possible that your tpms could have failed in as much as it THINKS it's ok when there's no signals.

This is how I am guessing it works! We got the sensors on the wheels, and a something that monitors these sensors. Right?! Meaning that's what failed!

Exactly. The receiving unit that listens to each wheel sensor is still there and should not think everything is ok with no signals coming in from the wheels.

The light didn't really bother me much! But now that the light is gone it does because now the receiving unit might be messed up!! I don't have my stock wheels so I can't really do a check with them! I am guessing it hasn't happen to anyone here! And still a few of ÿôū guys driving with the light!

That's what I'm thinking.. the monitoring sensor has failed.. If the light was on before then it was working fine. Since u didn't have the TPMS on the wheels... Now that sensor has stopped sending out the signal to the TPMS in the wheels.. Since u didn't have one the light on the dash does not received the signal back so it stays on..

Okay!! I just found out that actually my tires have TPMs. I went to flip them and saw them!! Is it possible for them to reprogram by themselves??! These wheels were on another 07-08 G35 Sedan! Maybe a slight posibility?!
