Go with the V1, live with the falses, and enjoy the protection.

Supplement it with the shifters unless you have ICC.

Edit: shifters are illegal in Texas.

That is so funny! I, too have purchased a 2008 G35x...in Lakeshore Slate with the same rims!
What a remarkable coincidence. And the best part is that I'm actually 19.

Only thing that might be different is that I bought it with my own money haha, I don't know if you did but congratulations! This truly is an amazing car and it's a great choice. I'm actually very happy with my choice...rather than getting an IS350, 335i, C300, I got the G35x and it flies!

I might post a separate thread about this, but does anyone know if it's possible to install the new 2012 G37 front bumper with the fog lights on my 2008 G35x and remove my existing bumper?

That and I believe the only other modification I will do is more tinting because I could care less about the stock Infiniti-Nissan navigation.

Not without replacing the entire front fascia including the headlights. Maybe some custom fabrication but it wont look stock

When It goes off and there is no cop there. Some things set them off like garage clickers, stuff like that

9500ix rocks.. buddy of mine has it, and he can delete areas with false inputs (by band) via GPS. So if there is a false K but cops use KA you can just eliminate the false K for that spot. Pretty sweet but it costs an arm and leg! Sometimes on slickdeals I see it on sale for a little under 400. For him its worth it he gets tickets more than me in his 370z.

I'm still locking my passport 7500 on mikes mount. The thing is over 10 years old, and it just won't die!
