Hey. I just bought my 08 G35x 2 weeks ago. You are trying to do the same thing that I am wanting to do on mine. But you do not have to get a new were bumper in the 2012 year there is a sport bumper for our year that looks very very similar to the 2012 bumper with no headlight or grill modifications necessary it sounds like we are on the same track
Hey, everyone. I was wonderi googleng if it is possible to install a 2012 G37 (Journey, I think) front bumper on my 2008 G35x sedan. If it is, may someone please tell me where I should buy that has it's very similar look to t my name is David and I'm glad to be a part of this form my car is so nice I love it I have not stopped getting compliments on how beautiful it is. lol like somebody have said, I don't think the money and resource is worth it. Just trade it for a lower mileage 2010 G, you'll save money in the long run, considering you'll have the option to change car colour, more refinement, 2 more gears, and about 30 more hp. Being involved in an accident is another thing though, where a portion is paid by the insurance.
