So I just bought a 2008 G35x off lease and I have a few questions. First off is that it seems like I have every tech option available however there is no CD Changer in the trunk. Not that I would ever use it but I "think" it's supposed to be there.

Next, in the trunk I have 4 hooks at the back of the trunk for the cargo net, and then I have 2 more hooks on the side of the trunk and a smaller net for a spare bottle of windshield washer fluid but there is no way this smaller net will reach all 4 hooks?

 

Didn't it come with an Owner's Manual?

Your missing your cargo net? That net really comes in handy. But yes, the net goes there. Do you have the liner to where the cd changer goes?

 

The CD changer is in-dash, not in the trunk.

 

Some packages move it to the trunk.

PREM + NAV meant a hard drive was added to the dash area, so the cd changer moved into the trunk.

FM! I did! Cant take that back. I just that cd changer b/c to a big box in there i can one go in from the pasenger side of the trunk. Plus these trunk space is small compared to the camery

Well i seen the trunk w/ out the cd changer in there and it does add some more room in there that i would love to have

I do understand though. The G's trunk is a tad bit smaller then my last car which was a coupe. Oh well, I didn't buy the G for the trunk anyway.

 

Lmao... cd changer in the trunk... sounds like a 90's car... never knew the G had that option

 

I have read the owners manual, and I have reviewd the options and packages that come on this car. That's why I'm asking, does anyone have or know of an '08 G35x with every option that doesn't have a CD Changer in the trunk? As far as the net is concerned, I have 1 large net and 1 small net, the large net is installed but the small net doesn't have 4 hooks available?

 

I can't speak to the issue about the nets, but as I said, any G with both Premium and NAV will have the CD changer in the trunk; there's simply no room for it in the dash!. If it doesn't, it was either removed or the actual installed options have been 'misinterpreted'.
