Overlayed the valence and added black emblem, yes or no?
Is that a vinyl overlay from BlueBatMobile?
If so, did you install it yourself or have a professional do it? I'd love to black out my valence and I'd rather not drill any holes for the AutoKits, so I'm leaning towards the vinyl/plastidip route. Just never dealt with plastidip before! If I get the vinyl overlay, I'd probably shoot an email to my tint guy to see if he'd be willing to align it up properly.

yes it is. I had a professional do it.
Which overlay did you go with? The matte black or super glossy black? I have the CF one on my car. Thinking of having my rear spoiler CF next. I also did the tailight and roof overlays and it flows very well with the PG color on our cars. It's a mixture of the stock chrome and little hints of black.

haha, yea yea. Its no trouble though. 5-10min with a hair dryer and some dental floss to remove the emblem.

Now you need to vinyl wrap your window trim, then remove it and re-do it

Trust me, you'll like the black window trim too
Emblem spacing
I agree that the placement of the emblem looks out of place or too high with the "infiniti" portion gone. I plan to remove the "Infiniti" from mine, and move the emblem to about a third of the way from the bottom of the space between the crease that runs between the tail lights, and the top edge, or spoiler in your case.
With the emblem mounted high, once the "Infiniti" is gone, the eye tends to move vertically. If the emblem is placed lower, then the eye moves back and forth horizontally across the tail lights and the emblem, effectively making the car look lower and wider. Its a subtle visual trick, but placement of these emblems, while a small detail, can really add to or take away from a design that looks nice otherwise. Tape it on temporarily, and move it up and down slightly to find the optimal position that feels right.
