17" Wheels on 2008 G35X Sport

Hey Fellow G35 drivers,

I searched the forums, but couldn't find an answer - can you use 17" wheels on a 2008 G35X Sport (which comes with 18" wheels)? I want to use 17" wheels for my winter tires.

Yes, I sure don't see any reason why you couldn't. The 17" were standard on the X and the 18" was part of an option. Your car didn't have the larger Sport brakes that came with the RWD sedans with Sport, so there's no possible clearance issues that way either.

Didn't realize that the Sport package on the X version did not include the larger brakes (hence the question). Thanks for the super-quick response guys.
