Alright guys I contacted the dealer today about our 07-08 G35 sedan sport bumper lip and he said there no such accessory! I was like WTH!??? I told them "ok try 2009 G35 sedan sport" ... he looked up and said in 2009 the bumpers changed and it's a completely different lip. He quoted me for like $440 so I figured he was talking about the G37 one.

Anyway the parts guy couldn't find it at all, just the Journey lips in the catalog and no sport ones!

I'm only trying to deal local so I can save on shipping. Called Rick at Infiniti, well at least where he use to work and those guys pulled it up right away! But our morons can't see it!

Any clues what's up? For what year was the front sport lip released. Do the 2009 G35s have the same bumper or not?

That is weird and probably due to a parts person who is still new at the job and only goes by what the computer tells him...

The lip was released in 2008 but was fully compatible with 2007 and in 2009 they introduced the G37s but with the same front end if im not mistaken so the front lip should be the same, it was in 2010 when teh changed the front end from what i know.

Rick moved to another store and im sure someone will give u his contact details soon here and im sure he will match your local dealer price with shipping included, at least thats what he did for me a long time back when he was at riverside.

Some dealers are just m0r0ns!!!! I called for a sports bumper and they wanted a VIN number to see if it would fit! I said, "Just give me a plain sports bumper, no ICC" and they still wanted a VIN! Then I called Rick and I didn't have to say it twice! Imaging you tell them you want 2010 headlights and bumper for your 08!? They'll probably would think you a fricking mad man!

 

yeahh I figured that guy was a noob at the dealer! He kept on telling me there was never a sport lip released for our sport bumpers! Saying there is nothing in the computer and all!

Anyway Im thinking about calling Rick's place and asking them for the part number for that lip, so I can tell them the part number and nothing else. Or those morons here are gonna be flipping out trying to get my car's info again!

 

Just call them with the part number and say, I wanted to see if you had this in stock, or if you can order it if not in stock.... should be pretty simple
