I think I paid about $140/ tire for 255/40/19 V12's a few years back at Discount Tire Direct

.but they are $228 there today.
They want $275 for the 275/30/20 that I paid $270 for (installed) at the shop in T.O.

I am running V12's currently on my 19x8.5 square set up. They are decent tires for the money you pay but there are other good tires in the same price range. Also, tire choices are very subjective b/c everyone has different needs. It all comes down to what you are looking for.. price? performance? comfort/noise? treadlife?

From my personal experience, here are my list of recommendations of good summer tires:

1. Continental Extreme Contact DW ( not DWS)
2. Yokohama S.drives
3. Hankook V12 Evo's
4. Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's
