Interested in anyone's experience with the MD ART pipes on their sedan, particularly those who already have a catback and have had HFCs or some other TPs on the sedan before swapping to the ART pipes.

Interested in sound differences, performance differences, any opinions you might have.

Currently running Ark Grip and Berk HFCs and will be swapping to ART pipes this weekend. We'll see how it goes and if it's not to my liking after some time, I'll have a set for sale

i did TON of researching on this(vids, reviews etc) when i bought mine which i had to sell b4 i could install em for personal reasons but i can tell you that the sound will be less noticeable than what it was with HFC(hard to believe but you will get same review from everyone who went from TPs or HFCs to ART TPs) the sound is nice and throaty with no to VERY little rasp depending on your exhaust and you will have a slight hiss on deceleration with some exhausts

The smell will be more noticeable obviously, the low to mid range torque increase is MUCH more than ANY other TP or HFC out there and you will notice this difference. check out the numerous Dynos and reviews on myg37. i think u will be VERY happy with your change to ART as long you dont mind the smell.

Yea I've researched as much as I can stand and really am surprised the V36 sedan community hasn't been too involved with the ART pipes. I've gone from stock Y & CBE, to adding Berk HFCs, to adding a Stillen CBE, removing that and replacing with Ark Grip which sounds 100x better with the Berks than the Stillen, and want to give these ART pipes a shot.

I'm not too intimidated with the noticeable increase in smell from the TPs, but do want to stay away from gaining any rasp or deceleration rasp. When I had the Berks with the OEM CBE & the Stillen CBE, I had deceleration hiss. When I swapped the Stillen w/ the Ark the hiss went away but I did pick up the tumbling howl within the X-pipe at 4250-4750 RPMs.

If the TQ improves, which the ART pipes have consistently been reported to increase (considerably over stock cats and more-so than traditional HFC & TP) I'll be happy, especially if it's noticeable when driving. However, I'm not so sure the increase will be so dramatic that I will feel a difference when driving, but soon to find out.

As far as the change in sounds from the Berk to ART, I'll post some vids of before & after once I get this swap complete. Dyno sheets included.

I'll post the vids I have of the Ark catback with Berk HFCs tomorrow evening. My plans are to purchase the Art pipes on Monday and have installed on Cinco de Mayo. Will post vids thereafter.

You'll love the ARTs. My guess is you'll put the Berks up for sale the minute you get the ARTs installed.

Perhaps

I like the Berks with this exhaust but I'm curious about the sound from some different cat setups; specifically tone, drone, rasp, & response. I'd like to hear the stock cats with this Grip catback but don't want to lose the gains in response. It will be interesting to see any improvement in the midrange with ART pipes.

I'm looking into the ARK HFC & TPs but have been given conflicting comments on them. Called up Ark asking if they'd fit either of their new parts on the 07+ sedan and was told no and that they wouldn't fit the AT transmission anyways... Was then told via email that a sedan guy had ART pipes with his Ark catback and it rasped too much, so he threw on the ARK TPs and he loves them. Well the link of the vid is a coupe, the guy doesn't drive a sedan. Don't want to purchase & wait til mid-may for delivery and install only to find out these won't fit correctly, but they do look like a valid choice if they bolt right up.
