So I recently bent a wheel on a nasty pothole on the highway. I am hoping for some opinions on how to fix...

I can have the bend corrected, but they will have to sand the Volk anodized finish and reclear (losing the cool GTS logo). Obviously, this won't look the same as the others. So here are my options. Which would you choose:
  • Sand ALL barrels and chrome
  • Search for a new wheel. They are discontinued and it might be hard to find my offset/size
  • Let them finish the one wheel and deal with it

Thoughts?

Try to find a new wheel if you like the GTS logo. Won't be the same without them. Otherwise get all of them redone, don't have just one wheel without the logo. All or none.

I would just get the one wheel fixed and deal with it

^+!, the minute details are not worth the extra $$, im assuming that wheel repair will cost around $100 each so not worth wasting >$300 on the other 3 imo.

I was quoted $1200 to chrome all four, with a 6 week wait. I will be letting the sand it and clear it...

i had two rims fixed for minor bends, sanded down and cleared for $100 each, but the clear did not last as long as i expected and now they are a bit hazy so i might have to sand em down myself and get a better CC on them....

I LOL'd,

but then I noticed they are are my favorite rims in the whole world, so I can feel for the OP.

Truth is, if it weren't for my worries about the exact same thing happening to me, I'd probably have those wheels on my car right now, but with the way the roads where I live are, NO WAY!

can you post a pic of the GTS logo? I think it would help if everyone could see what you're losing. I google'd but couldn't find anything.

Any chance you could get a new barrel? Even though the wheel may be discontinued the manufacturer may be able to help, it's worth a shot. Damn, those are sweet wheels BTW.

Thanks! Here is a picture of them on the car.

I am actually trying to work with Mackin and B2Auto to find out if I can order just a barrel. It is usually as pricey as buying a new wheel though. Sort of makes the idea of having a multiple piece wheel seem worthless...
