Only injury I came out with was whiplash, thank God for Infiniti's! I am pretty sure the guy is behind bars, he got charged with hit & run, attempted vehicular manslaughter, resisting arrest, evading police and had some warrants out for GTA. What a bad person.. glad he was caught.

Did a shoot with my brother a while ago before it was smashed. This was when I first got it.

There's me with the G, I'm a young one.

Parked up next to an 03 at school.

WHAT IS WITH EVERYONE HITTING G'S AT STOP LIGHTS! Bro sorry for your loss I had the SAME thing happen to me. I was stopped at a stoplight minding my own business while some crack head guy and his trashy girl was getting arrested on the side of the highway. I was looking and thinkin to myself "hmm....i feel like somones not gonna pay attention an.." at that point I hear screeching and this guy runs into the back of a mercedes who plows into me. Im starting to realize how good infiniti brakes are cause i was able to stop from hitting the other person infront of me. Needless to say there were two cops that saw the whole thing and the other person insurance paid for both cars including mine involved in the accident. I really didn't have any damage though i pretty much was able to buff out the scratches and pop the dents and you can't tell its been hit by anything and got keep the insurance money. But im sorry for your loss, nice G and on the tail lights just did mine. IF u get a G37 you will regret the 7AT.

Why would I regret the G37? I'd like to know everything about it before I get it.

The 7AT transmission has had alot of issues in the past, Im not sure if they have reflashed the computer for it or not. I drove one for my loner once and it felt like it was always trying to search for gears. Go 6MT , I would have but I stuck with the 5AT cause i got the G35x <- AWD . But if I could i would go G37 6MT :-)

I feel like I'd be too lazy to use manual, is the 7AT really THAT bad?

Had an 07 w/ 5AT, now an 09 w/ 7AT. The 3.7 is a bit quicker but the 7AT weighs more so it's not really noticeable. The 7AT has some quirks but IMO they're nothing you can't adjust too. The extra gears make it more indecisive and the 20-30 mph coasting it'll tend to have some clunky downshifts. There's a new reflash that came out last week that will hopefully be applied to the 09s (for my sake) but it covers 2010 & 2011s, sounds like this may be the fix we're hoping for. I wouldn't hesitate to get a 37, the 7AT isn't as refined as the 5AT but it's also got more things to do
Good luck, being in that wreck surely shouldn't cause you to be out your nice ride

Take one for a good test drive and see what you think, many don't have a problem w/ it.
You might wait a week or two and see if last weeks' new reflash fixes the issues.
