Muffler/exhaust question

Hi all,

For those who have experimented with mufflers and exhausts...
I just bought a 2007 Infiniti G35X, I have installed a DC Sports short Ram dual air intake,
I really like the sound of our engine, I just would like to have it a little louder without too much droning and compartment noise.

My budget doesn't allow me for a complete cat back system change, therefore i can only change either the mufflers or the resonators. I have good deals with Magnaflow, what should I do? Replace the mufflers or a set of resonators? I don't want to ruin that beautiful sound either, I really like the sound without the mufflers, but it is too loud and will get annoying with time.

I thank you very much for your answers and your patience with me.

Mike from Canada's East coast.

It's not a cat-back but a Y-back, I love the sound & look, and the price is great. Here's the thread (pics & sound clips on the last few pages).
They sell on Ebay but haven't listed in awhile as I believe they've been out of stock.

Here's their website, you might be able to get one direct if they have them on hand.

This sounds like an excellent solution, and the price is great, but it's a bit too rich for my blood right now, especially for shipping to Canada. Any other solution I could do with just Magnaflow mufflers/products that would just amplify the sound and still sound great?
BTW thank you for such a quick response, I really appreciate it.

I guess I will start by changing the rear resonators with Magnaflows 10415, then If I want more and my budge allows I'll change the mufflers with Magnaflows 11225 and get the stock tips re-welded on the magnaflow mufflers.

Does anyone knows the Pipe diameter for the resonators, is it 2.25" like the rest? I think a 4 inches round resonator should fit alright.
