g35 sedan tow boat?

My friend recently bought a 17 footer boat and since our cars are pretty powerful, I was wondering if my car can tow it without any issues. Has anybody here tow anything with our g35 sedans?

Any input would be helpful!

Infiniti generally frowns upon G35 towing anything, that's why we don't make a hitch for those vehicles, however searching Car and Driver specs, for 2004 G35 I found
Towing Capacity 1000/1000 lbs.
take it for what it's worth, I would not tow anything using a G

There are a lot of SUV's that can't tow a boat. I would be surprised if a G could.

Tongue weight alone my exceed the G's capability. I almost put a hitch on mine to tow my motorcycle but decided against it. Weight wasn't going to be the issue with it.

FYI, Section 9-16 of the owner's manual

Towing a Trailer
Your vehicle was designed to be used to carry passengers and cargo. INFINITI does not recommend trailer towing, because it places additional loads on your vehicle's engine, drivetrain, steering, braking, and other systems.

If you must use this vehicle to tow a trailer, the trailer load should never exceed 1,000 lb.

CAUTION
Vehicle damage resulting from towing a trailer is not covered by INFINITI warranties.

nice find, it looks just out of place? I like the idea about towing an extra set of track wheels and tires.
