Hi,

I'm new to the site and bought at CPO 07' G35x Sedan a little over a year ago. The material on the steering wheel and driver side bezel are chipped pretty bad, which I see is a pretty common problem here. I'm not too concerned about the steering wheel but I did order a replacement bezel on ebay. I was wondering how to install it, do I have to take the whole door panel apart or is there an easy way that I'm missing? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

@rpm&my_G35 I was just looking at the pics of your car, looks great! I see pics of the front end like mine and pics of what looks like an updated front end. Did you swap out the front end for the 08+ bumper? Not sure if I should have posted this here or somewhere else, or maybe in a message?

I used to have the 07 G35X. Traded it in last summer for the 11 G37S 6MT.

the trim piece pops out... BE CAREFUL when you take out the driver's side one.. when you remove the side view mirror controller plug, there's a piece that can come out. make sure you don't lose this.

 

@nineiron Thanks for the heads up. Will switch it out tonight. Hopefully this part I ordered isn't the same material or "paint" they used for the scratched one. I don't believe it is. Thanks again for the reply.

 

^ hopefully you ordered the 2008+ part. It is coloured plastic rather than coated/painted.

 

Yes, the one I ordered says 07-08 and it is colored plastic rather than coated/painted.

 

Imtrying to find these window bezel to replace in my car. Can someone help me find them? Im afraid i might order the ones that scratch easily. I have a 2008 infiniti g35x. I appreciate your help.

I found mines on ebay from infiniti of escondido it was pretty cheap and they shipped it super fast
