Holy ****... it's gonna take a lot of compound to rub that out.
Glad you're okay... it sucks to lose your ride like that but cars are replaceable... you're not.

WOW jnova, I can totally see your point about the car's engineering doing what it was supposed to do to protect you in that crash. The cabin is intact, but the whole front end is an accordion. Looks like the motor started to go down under the cab. Awesome stuff. In the old days (), folks didn't just walk away from that kind of a wreck. Again, sorry for the disaster, but congrats on the new ride too!


PS. Post a pic of the trunk too if you've got one.

You're absolutely right. In the old days the car (aka tank) would go right through the wall soon to be followed by the front occupants, immediately after they went through the windshield.
Grandpa says "They sure don't build them like they used too". I respectfully reply "you're right Grandpa, they build them better now". We've come a long way.

Glad the OP walked away from that and I guess congratulations are in order for getting a new G.
