Sorry guys! Didn't get a chance to reply sooner. But to quote almost everyone. I didn't parked it at my apartment complex parking lot. I had parked across the street at RiteAid Parking lot in my town. I have dark tints, so you can barely see inside of the car.

But, the low life thief was able to take a fake wallet inside the console that was filled with department store membership cards and other worthless cards that i don't carry with me. In addition, he/she took my Burberry cologne from the glove compartment and left the Axe Body spray.

I would have never expected to happen such a thing in my town but I guess my car was the only one parked there at night. So it was venerable, but I did realize that Infiniti does not have a good car security alarm.

All in all, I was able to get a glass replaced from insurance for free.

I usually only keep two cables outside. My iPhone charger and Aux monster cable for better sound quality than iPod interface. I will be getting a black iphone charger to conceal all cables and keep the car clean. It just looks dirty because of the mess.

Once I detail the car, I will post the pic to show that it was not really my fault for this crime because you couldn't see anything inside of the car and console would have been closed.

I live in Boston, so I'm now a little worried....tint is supposed to deter window smashing since the film holds the glass in. You can see how he had to struggle to cut open the tint film...
It was north of Boston near Burlington area. But I wouldn't be worries as much unless you park your car in a open lot with no other cars near by. I usually park my car in roxbury, "school" parking lot and no incidents yet.

Sorry about your bad luck. I'm happy insurance covered it for you no-charge.

I thought I would also share this with everyone (from the Infiniti Owners Manual) so there is no misconception about our Security System.
Our cars do not come with a 'full featured' type of security system found in many aftermarket security products.

"VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM
The vehicle security system provides visual and audio alarm signals if someone opens the doors, hood, or trunk lid when the system is armed. It is not, however, a motion detection type system that activates when a vehicle is moved or when a vibration occurs. The system helps deter vehicle theft but cannot prevent it, nor can it prevent the theft of interior or exterior vehicle components in all situations. Always secure your vehicle even if parking for a brief period."

To keep it simple you could always try to get your hands on that add on for the OEM alarm. It detects shock and so forth.

I know now you got me thinking about the same thing? I feel like he used a large object to crack the glass and just cut the film open.

Someone has a knowledge on this, please chime in!

your def unlucky, but at least your leather looks okay. Throughout the years, a few of my friends had their windows smashed in more than once. 9/10 times the person used a hard large sharp objects that cuts the seat or damages some part interior.

Hate to see this kinda crap happen though
