Aluminum Under Shrouds
Aluminum doesn't rust - so corrosion isn't really a factor.
Clearance is tighter and doesn't sag
Metal actually protect the engine/oil pan
Oil changes are easier
Removing the shroud to do work on just the bumper or just the engine is faster
I've had mine on my car for 4 years and no issues. I know people that have hit ice blocks in the road with almost no noticeable change in it.
On the other hand, I know a few people who are really low and having the aluminum shroud has saved the bottom of their engine when they hit something in the road that was unavoidable.
Either way, I know I will always run mine.

Nope, small to huge rocks = Aluminum is better
Additionally, the stock one will eventually lose strength and fall off. The plastic breaks down and can't handle the wind resistance that comes with the aerodynamics of it. Eventually you can expect it to fail, offering you protection from nothing, including water. It normally happens when you are on an interstate doing a road trip, from my experience.

^ whs the stock starts to sag after a while, mine has started to sag from the middle... i will be buying one for my g35 very soon from you(probably around the next time i do my oil change in a couple of months) cause oil changes take forever having to remove all 16--18 bolts smh and also do you carry one for 2005 FX35 awd?
^ ok im not in a hurry since ill just replace them when i do my next oil change in couple of months for both cars since ill have to remove the tray then anyways so if you can confirm it till then it would be great else no big deal
The impact required to bend and deform the aluminum would most likely tear the plastic right off, or at least rip through around the bolts.
exactly - without protecting the engine at all
I'm surprised that you guys haven't all jumped on this product yet! I've been rocking mine for about 5-6 months now with no problems and the fitment is spot on even with aftermarket sway bars (I run Hotchkis). Excellent job willey
