PA system....lol

so i know im probably gonna be made fun of and stuff, but i figured i'd post it up anyway.

i decided it would be a fun idea to put a PA in my car...
so i bought a CB radio w/ PA funtion, plus an amplified speaker, both from rightchannelradios.com
the reason i got a CB radio instead of a straight up PA thing is because most of those have sirens built in which, as far as i am aware, are illegal to have.

this thing is a lot of fun, just to mess with people and friends and stuff, its not as loud as i wanted but its good enough for now. the one thing i forgot is painting the speaker black to keep it subtle ill do it next weekend.

wanted to put the CB completely out of sight in the glovebox so i bought the most compact one but it wouldnt fit in the glove box anyway heres pix

Nice job. I've always wanted to secretly do this lol.

BTW what are those red disk shaped things in front of your radiator? I'm guessing horns?

I did that to a work truck I used to drive many years ago (1980), I could stampede a herd of cattle by imitating the sound of a calf calling for it's mother. I could slow speeders down in school zones by making the sound of a police car too.

They seem almost twice as loud! But the noise it makes when I lock my car it sounds like a very loud duck quacking! Haha
