Due to the MS3 being FWD, wouldn't a RWD G35 take it on a 60 mph roll?

I think it would be a close call. But the Coupe would take it no problem.

Sedans are actually SLIGHTLY faster than coupes due to weighing less.

base model 2007 sedan 3449
base model 2007 coupe 3485
AWD x sedan, add 200 lbs, you are now heavier than a coupe

Heck half a tank of gas can make all the difference in weight

Assuming the coupe would have an empty gas tank and no people inside, this makes sense.

But this is comparing base models (which weren't the full 298hp in the '07 coupe) as well as V35 vs V36. If you want a better comparison, I think you have to go back to '06 (the last year of the V35 sedan), and then compare the 6MT models of both coupe and sedan. Even there, I think the difference was only 50lbs or so according to Infinitihelp.com. IMHO, comparing the older rev-up motor to the HR is a bit unfair, so any comparison during the '07 year should probably have an asterisk.

Plus, correct me if i'm mistaken, but the '07s were still rated under the old SAE standards for HP.

If it stands true, then that 298, using current standards, will rate about 10-15% lower. Alternatively, the 306 of our HR's would rate 10-15% higher HP using the old standards.
