I am pretty sure that this cannot be done. There is no way that the infiniti system can read the songs of an android player (especially google play). Just use the auxiliary

It currently does not exist. A micro USB is only a 4 pin vs apple's 30 pin. You could make one...although I think we will be seeing some sort of adaptor made in the future esp since apple appears to dropping their 30 pin in favor of a more space saving interface.

I personally prefer my auxiliary over the ipod interface. Before everyone back fires here is my explanation.
iPod interface uses DAO- Digital Audio Out which is not amplified by the car, thus if you are trying to get higher levels in your car. The sound will start to deteriorate and finally cut off.

Using a high quality Aux cable such as gold plated Monster cable, you will hear the sound difference as soon as you plug it in if you are an audiophile. Also, while playing from an iPhone, Android or other players. You have more control over audio gains and saturation. If you think I am lying, go buy the monster (higher gauge audio cable) and give it a try.

In addition, Google Voice or iTunes Match will not play 320kbps sound quality unless the file is stored locally on your device. So try it with Dropbox or locally saved file on the phone before going to pandora or other internet clients.

Sorry for the long explanation. :-/

Best,
Ex-Apple Employee /Engineer

You lost me here.

Everyone knows (and many tests have been done) that prove monster gold plated anything is all a marketing ploy to get you to pay extra.

Any high quality cable is fine.

oh hey, if you're looking for the ultimate in sound, we've got half a meter of oxygen-free, triple-wrapped double-insulated Sonically Shielded AmpliSized Egyptian Llama cable here that we'll part ways with for just a couple grand.
Monster cable...Ha!

I also said,
go buy the monster (higher gauge audio cable) and give it a try.
You will be able to see a big difference when you use any higher gauge cable, and I would never pay the regular price of any moster cable.

That's you find retail store employees to buy them for you for 50% off.

But yea, I do love my moster (consumer grade) higher gauge audio cable. LOL

What is your opinion guys? Do you prefer the iPod interface or the auxiliary cable?

Can someone set up a poll? I would like to find out.
