headlights?

I just bought some smoke plastidip. it is a good idea to use this stuff on head lights? tail lights I'm definitely trying it out but do you guys think it'll look good for headlights? And does anyone how much light this stuff blocks lets say for 5 coats? cause I do not want this to decrease my head lights's brightness by like 50% and crash into a tree. thanks!!

^whs, using plastidip smoke on the outside lens of the headlight just doesnt sound like a good idea at all and if this stuff is as thick as the regular plasti then it will decrease the light output by a lot.
