at 50k miles, finally the mods that were well worth the cost

so Im the original owner of this car and have had it for 4 years and 50k miles. My car has numerous mods including several one-of-a-kind and some imported some Japan. Just recently I completed two mods that have been and are the best mods money can buy on the car. I could not be happier with the mods and the benefits versus the costs.

Mod 1: UpRev Tune - under $600 and HUGE difference in driving. Car is way more responsive and powerful. Best bang for the buck

Mod 2: Replacing OEM rotors and pads with aftermarket centric blank rotors and posi-quiet ceramic pads - Under $300 and another HUGE difference in how the car performs/feels. Car brakes as it should now. No noises. Great bite. Very low dust. No wobbling or juddering on the pedal at any speed. Smooth riding. Car feels like new again.

Right now, i could not be happier. The car feels brand new again! Now i just have to spice up the exterior.

I plan on doing the UpRev tune at some point in time after I do my CAI, Exhaust ect. Have you seen any change in gas mileage? What kind of gains did you see hp/tq?

Is there any reason why you decided to go with their standard rotors vs's the sportstop versions? I would like to upgrade my brakes for when I drive aggresively which is pretty much 3/4 of the time I need to do a little bit more research on rotor upgrades.

I drive somewhat sporty/aggressive too but for my needs the standard rotors were all i needed. Price also sold me!

gas mileage has been about the same with maybe a loss of 1mpg but only because Ive been stopping on it to see what the car can do. I posted numbers in another thread on here but gained about 20WHP.

as for warranty, I have 1 month remaining in my warranty, but even in warranty, the tune is like any other mod. They have to find the mod then link to the problem.

I doubt they could tell. The worst case scenario is they could update the firmware without your knowledge thus wiping out your whole tune (and license key). In theory you would lose your whole license at that point. If your tuner kept a copy of your tune or you own the cable you could at least back up the tune settings I suppose.
