so few days ago went to some auto body touch up place to get a quote on touching up a few spots. Basically the guy is like this whole front bumper is ruined cus he said there are "runs" already forming and that the dealership probably just did a quick touch up themselves and put it on the sales lot. after that being said he reluctantly said he would just do one spot that i came in for but would charge $200 and said he's rather do the whole bumper for $600. That seems a little high to me, can anyone else chime in?

 

haha walk away..you shouldent be paying more than 200-250 to get a bumper painted.

 

300 for a bumper is about right...I had one done on another car a few years ago and it was 275.

600 is too much for just a bumper...

 

its different every where you go. i was quoted 200 to repaint my rear bumper by a body show in va.

 

^^ I think a front bumper usually runs more. Anyway, ds14X, if the price is too high, you might also consider getting quotes for a repaint on just a 'loose' bumper. Then you can see whether or not it's worth it to you to save the labor costs of R&Ring the bumper yourself.

awesome, yea thats what i did i walked alway lol told him i could probably order a prepainted bumper brand new and get it shipped for less than 600. he told me i shouldnt cus it might not fit haha, thanks for the input guys!
