Not bad, but both Costco and Walmart frequently have sales for well under that.

Oh I never really checked there as I really only buy when there's an offer with oil filter M1, Bosch, or K&N.

Well under $5.89 QT? I can't imaging that, I don't have Costco here but I do have 3 WMs :-)

I got 5 qts Mobil 1 EP with Mobil1 EP oil filter for $32.99 deal from Advance Auto from time to time...

Looks like right now you can get 5 qts Mobil 1 Oil with Mobil 1 EP oil filter for only $29.99 there. Look at last page in flyer below.

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/wcs...267-_-10711125

Looks like the offer is valid until Sept. 26th! Buying each Mobil 1 quart at $5.89 is way too much! Can use this deal 5 times at one time...I know each Mobil 1 EP oil filter costs at least $10 each...If you are around advance auto parts OP, I would suggest you returning them if you can and stock up on mobil 1 oil filters also. They're still one of the best (if not the best) oil filters you can buy.

The regular price at the Walmart near me is $24.97 for a 5 quart jug. They frequently have sales at a few dollars below that. The Costco stores sell a 6 quart case for around $34, but if you wait for the coupon sales they take off another 9-10 bucks so the net price per quart ends up near the 4 dollar mark.

I used to always wait for the 5 qts and filter deal at autozone, but stumbled upon the everyday deal at Walmart. They usually don't have the Mobil 1 filter there, so I just pick one up from auto zone instead. Walmart also has penzzoil platinum for the same price as Mobil 1 if you prefer that.
