Running OEM 18" sport Wheels on an X

Hi, i know its been mentioned ( i did search) and just want clarification if i can run 18" OEM Sport wheels from 07-08 years on my 2008 G35x sedan. I just love the way they look and dont want aftermarket wheels. I came across this Thread https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-bra...-question.html and didnt know if i were to believe which option would work best, either buying 4 front wheels or 4 rear wheels (which are a bit wider). Please let me know what you all think. Thank you

Also, if anyone is selling their wheels, please let me know. I want to get rid of my stock 17" wheels, its been too long. Only Mods ive done to the car are %35 tints, LED Parking lights, Installed rear view camera that looks like factory camera, Debadged everything but Mt. Fuji, LED interior conversion and about to do trim replacement for steering wheel. Was looking to get the top speed exhaust to change the cars sound a bit from the previous Group buy but wasnt in top 25 and guess i lucked out because the tips were horrible. I am in no way interested in modding for performance since i use it as a daily driver working in real estate and i never track or drive like i stole it.

Looking to get sport bumper and maybe plastidip grille and rear chrome spoiler.

The 2008 OEM Sport 18" front wheels are the same wheel/width on the 2008 G35xS wheels factory wheels on both the front and the back. I like the wheels but wish they were a bit wider. From purely a cosmetic standpoint (not considering ride quality), I would go with four of the wider rear wheels on all four corners. That being said, I cannot image much of a change in handling between the narrower and wider 18" wheel.

Yea i dont really want the option to choose which will be best for handling but if any (rear or front wheels) will affect the AWD system. I guess i can just try to buy 2 sets of rear wheels when ever i find them sold in pairs of two at a good price. Just curious as why some sellers on this forum always told me they would fit my X when it was a staggered setup!

I'm guessing the reason is because many folks run them successfully on an X. Granted, it is not technically condoned by the manufacturer, but the actual front -> rear difference in diameter on the stock Sport staggered wheel/tire combo is only 0.2 inches (or 0.7%), which amounts to something similar to just running your current stock setup, but with new tires on the fronts and rather worn tires on the rears; not exactly the end of the world.
