Rear Bumper
Rear Bumper
Hello all. I have a G35x 2008. I was recently in an accident where my rear bumper is ruined. I was wondering what would an approximate cost would be for either buying a new bumper vs fixing and repainting it. It is the white pearl color. Thank you and appreciate any responses ahead of time.

but
New Bumper Rear - 85022-JK00H Retail - $393.82 G35price - $315.00
Painted QX1 $200-$300
of course the price of shipping if you weren't local would be rediculous, 300-400$
but that's a pretty good estimate of getting a brand new bumper at least from a dealership point of view
hope that helps you!
Thank you guys. I really will look into it. I guess it'll depend on how much the insurance adjuster and I settle for. I may just try to save it if possible but if not would go with a new bumper. As long its less than $900-$1000 including installation I'll go with new.
Personally I would go through with a used option. Chances are you will find a used one in your cars color for under 300. Going with the new bumper, paint, install is a waist of money.
Install it yourself. It is easier then it might seem. Pretty sure there is a DIY on the removal of the rear bumer on here if you are not familier with working on cars.
I bought my rear bumper off of car-part.com for 240 shipped in infiniti's OEM paint. Took about 45 minutes to install.
Think about it and look around local Auto-part recyclers, such as B&R Auto, LKQ-auto parts and so on.
Good luck.
