hey all, I currently still have my 07 g35x but I'm thinking i will make a move to the 2013 5.0 with good options including recaro seats and nav. I'm not sure yet because I really do love my car but I hate my seats, they are cracking and discolored and seem like cheap *** thin leather . Am I making a mistake? I know the quality on the G may be a little better but somethings on the car **** me off. I wish I could keep both...

The 5.0s are pretty sweet, badas$ motor for sure. The resale on those falls real quick though so I think I'd strongly consider going w/ a used one. No need to pay 10k more than you should, bet you could pick up a low mileage 2011 5.0 w/ Brembos for $25k.

 

The Stang is a sweet car for what it is...very different than a G. I wouldn't mind owning one someday myself.
Fwiw - I'm sure by the time the 5.0 is 6 years old you will have found something about it that pisses you off again. No car is prefect

 

they are 2 different cars. do you want a luxury sports sedan or a 2 door muscle car? you could always get a CTS-V Coupe if you wanted both

 

couldn't you get your seat fixed?

if you see snow in the winter, i could stay with the X

 

If I was going to sport around in a stang, then I'd at least want it to be a Boss 302 w/Laguna Seca package.
