LED Question

I ordered some plug in LED's to replace the the standard bulbs in my '07 sedan from a vendor on this board. When I popped the LED's in, I noticed a different color hue. One had a more "yellowish" color hue (still white though) and the other had a slightly "violet" hue.
Talked with the vendor, and they're sending another set out for a swap. The question I have is: is it the LED bulbs that are not color matched properly, or could it ba a slight variation in voltage that would effect these color hues???

Variations in voltage would change the how bright the LED appears, not it's color.
