derp derp question

How do I start my car if my key fob is dead? I know how to get in, but I've looked everywhere trying to find where to put my key to start the car with no luck...

You should be able to start it normally by inserting the key into the thing you usually twist to start it!

there is a slot for it on the left near where your "trunk open" and "vdc off" buttons are

Huh?

Anyway, there is a slot on the lower left side of the steering wheel, stick the fob in there and start the car. It should have blinking lights around it to help you find it when you step on the brakes and try to start the car.

And of course it goes without saying (again, like a broken record ), ALL this is covered in the Owners Manual, which is also conveniently available for free if you didn't get one with your car. Besides, wouldn't it be cool if you could actually answer questions like this for yourself in that instance where, oh . . . lets suppose, you're far from home, the inerwebz is unavailable, and you can't figure out how to start your car.

It would have been so much nicer if that slot charged our key fobs too like they do in BMW's... as well as having a side mirror with turn signals incorporated into it like in the maximas... which are supposed to be a lower end model. go figure.
